Inspector Notes
This initial inspection was conducted by licensing staff and concluded on 08/24/2022, between the hours of 10 am to 11:30 am. There were no children present, with 1 caregiver. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration; physical plant; staffing; programming; medication; special care and emergencies; and nutrition. Today's inspection was initiated due to the relocation of the FDH to a new address. Policy now dictates that an initial inspection must be generated to facilitate this change. In addition to the change of address, the capacity to 7, and hours of operation will now reflect 7:30 am to 10:30 pm; Monday through Sunday. A total of 4 children records, 3 household records, and 1 staff record was reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined that there were (3) non-compliances with the applicable standards. These violations were documented on the Violation Notice issued to the home.
If you should have any questions, please call or send an email to charlie.perkins@doe.virginia.gov. Thank you.
