Inspector Notes

This Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was initiated by licensing staff and concluded on 03/07/2024, between the hours of 9:30 am to 12 pm. There were 4 children present (11 points), with 2 caregivers supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.

Information gathered during the inspection determined (1) non-compliance with the applicable standards, code, and/or law. Violations were documented on the Violation Notice issued to the home.

Based on review, not all of the required drills were recorded as complete.

Evidence -
1. On the date of inspection (03-07-24), a record of the dates of the practice lockdown drill for the past year was not available.
2. This documentation was left blank on the log board for 2023.
Plan of Correction: Going forward, the lockdown drill will be conducted (at least annually) and recorded on the posted log.
