Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 1/18/2023 with the center director and staff. There were 12 children present, ranging in ages from 18 months to 4 years with 3 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 2 staff records were reviewed. The children were having snack and playing with blocks, legos, and manipulatives.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, the facility failed to ensure children washed hands with soap and running water or disposable wipes before and after eating meals or snacks. Evidence: the children did not wash hands after eating snack.
Plan of Correction: Staff will ensure children wash hands before and after eating.
