Child #1, age 7 months, was observed sleeping in a crib that had 3 blankets hanging over two sides of the crib and were within the childs reach. The provider stated the blankets are used to block the light so the child can sleep during nap.

Emergency evacuation procedures shall be practiced monthly with all caregivers and children in care during all shifts. Documentation shall be maintained of emergency evacuation and shelter-in-place drills that include: identity of person conducting drill, date and time of the drill, method used for notification of the drill, number of caregivers and children participating, any special conditions simulated, the time it took to complete the drill, problems encountered, and weather conditions.
