A monitoring inspection was conducted on 10/24/2022 There were 4 children present and 1 staff. A tour of the facility was conducted, in addition to a record review and interviews with staff. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation the center did not ensure all areas and equipment of the center were maintained in a safe condition.
Evidence:
The gate to the kitchen was opened and there was an unlocked drawer containing sanitizing tablets.

Plan of Correction: The gate and drawer were locked during the inspection.

Based on observation and interview the center did not ensure all supervision requirements were met. Evidence: When the inspector arrived around or about 11:45am, there was only 1 staff member in the building with 4 children napping. There was not a second staff in the building or immediately available.
Plan of Correction: There was a personal emergency the second staff had to attend to. The director will come-up with a plan to ensure there is someone to contact in the event additional staff is needed and there are always at least 2 staff present when children are in care.
