Inspector Notes

A subsidy inspection was conducted on 04/11/2022. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on a record review the vendor did not ensure all staff had a current certification in CPR within 90 days of employment.
Evidence:
Staff #1, hired 11/04/2021, did not have documentation of a certification in CPR
Plan of Correction: The following plan of correction was provided by the vendor during the exit interview:
There was confusion about which staff needed CPR and first aid and how long they had to obtain the certifications. All staff will obtain CPR and first aid certifications within 90days of being hired.
