During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above, to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site code compliance inspection was initiated and completed on July 14, 2025. The on-site inspection began at 9:45am and ended at 11:25am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 11 children present and 4 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 4 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Each building that was built before 2015 and that houses a child day program that is licensed pursuant to this chapter or any program described in subdivision A 4, B 1, or B 5 of ? 22.1-289.030 that serves preschool-age children shall be equipped with at least one carbon monoxide detector. The childcare building did not have a carbon monoxide detector and children were in care.
Plan of Correction: The plan of correction: The center does not have gas and they were unaware that a carbon monoxide detector was required. During the time of the inspection, a carbon monoxide detector was ordered and will be placed in the building once delivered.
