Inspector Notes

The Licensing Inspector conducted an unannounced complaint inspection in response to a complaint that was received by the licensing office on 8/03/2022 relating to preventing the spread of disease, notification to parents of exposure to communicable diseases and the cleaning and sanitation methods. Interviews were conducted with staff, reviewed the center?s daily classroom disinfecting check list, and reviewed emails sent notifying parents of the exposure to communicable diseases in July and list of children with communicable diseases in July 2022.
The information gathered during this investigation does not support the allegations relating to cleaning and sanitation methods, but does support the allegations of the center not notifying parents of the exposure to a communicable disease, so the complaint is determined to be valid. Please complete the columns for "Plan of Correction" and "Date to be Corrected" for each violation cited on the violation notice, and then return a signed and dated copy to the licensing office within 5 business days of receipt. If you have any questions you may contact me at Stacy.Doyle@doe.virginia.gov or 571-835-0386.
