Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 12/19/2023 from 1:40pm to 3:00pm. At the time of the inspection there were 8 children in care totaling 18 points and 2 caregivers including the provider. Children were observed napping, eating snack, and playing with puzzles. Emergency supplies, evacuation drills, vehicles used for transportation, and records for caregivers and children were reviewed. The information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice and discussed during the exit interview.

Based on observation and interviews, it was determined the licensee did not ensure that the required telephone numbers are posted in a visible area, close to the telephone.

Based on record review and interviews, it was determined the provider did not ensure that shelter-in-place procedures are practiced a minimum of twice per year.
