During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on and completed on 11/15/24. The on-site inspection began at 2:05pm and ended at 3:30pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were three children present and two caregivers; the point total was eight. The inspector reviewed three children?s records and two caregiver records on-site. This inspection included document review, a tour of the facility, interviews, and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on12/2/24. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

The license and any other documents required by the Superintendent shall be posted in a conspicuous place on the licensed premises.
The results of the most recent inspection were not posted at the family day home, which is required.

The provider shall ensure that the vehicle used for transportation meets all the requirements.
The van used for transportation of children at the family day home had inspection stickers dated 4/2024, which were expired.

Temperatures shall be maintained at or below 40?F in refrigerator compartments and at or below 0?F in the freezer compartments.
At the time of the inspection, the temperature reading in the freezer was 32?F, which is above the required freezer temperature.

A facility or an agency shall operate within the terms of its license: for childcare facilities or agencies, the age range of children for whom care may be provided.
On the family day home?s license, the age ranges of children for whom care may be provided for are 2?5-year-olds. At the time of the inspection, a one-year-old was in care, which is not included in the ages the licensee is licensed to provide care for.
