Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on February 9 2024 between 11:00am and 1:00pm. There were 58 children in the direct care of 16 staff members. Children were observed going on a walk, playing on the playground, eating lunch, washing hands, being diapered, and napping. Staffing records, child records, the physical plant, evacuation drills, and trainings were reviewed and inspected. Citations are listed on the violation notice. Based on record review, the center did not ensure that the emergency evacuation drills were practiced monthly.

Evidence: A shelter in place drill was in the place of an evacuation drill. Evacuation drills must be don't monthly and in addition, 2 shelter in place drills must be practiced yearly.
