Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was completed on 04/25/23. There were 29 children in care upon arrival and additional children got off the bus with some of those children picked up from the bus stop by parents. Five staff were supervising the children; the owner/director was also present. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 2:00 and ended at 3:45.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on measurement, the center did not maintain, where playground equipment is provided, resilient surfacing that complies with with minimum safety standards.
Evidence:
1. The playground had 203 inches of mulch around the playground equipment.
Plan of Correction: The director will have mulch spread to meet the required depth of 6 inches.
