Inspector Notes
An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 08/13/2024, as a part of licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 10:00am and ended at 11:30am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 6 children present and 2 caregivers; the point total was 13 points. The inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 2 staff records and 1 household record on-site This inspection included observations, interviews, tour of the family day home and document review.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Violations
4Evidence:
Staff #1's most recent TB screening was dated in June 2022. Household member #1's most recent TB screening was dated in June 2022.
Evidence:
1. Staff #2 was observed diapering two children. Staff #2 did not wash their hands between the two diaper changes.
2. Staff #2 was observed serving food to children without washing their hands prior to serving the food.
Evidence:
1. Staff #2 was observed diapering children. Staff #2 did not ensure that the children's hands were washed after the diapering.
2. Staff #1 and #2 did not ensure that children's hands were washed before lunch.
Evidence:
A topical ointment for Child # 3 expired in May 2024.
