Providers licensed shall have current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), as appropriate to the age of the children in care.

The provider's certification in CPR has been expired for approximately 4 months.
Plan of Correction: Will enroll in the next CPR and first aid course. Two assistants have current certification and are onsite.

Small electrical appliances such as, but not limited to, curling irons, toasters, blenders, can openers, and irons shall be unplugged unless being used by the caregiver or with children under close supervision.

Small appliances were observed plugged in and were not in use during the inspection.
Plan of Correction: We will unplug any of the appliances such as bottle warmers, toaster ovens and tea kettles when not in use.

Cribs when being used by infants shall have a tight-fitting bottom cover.
Two cribs were observed with loosely fitting bottom covers.
Plan of Correction: I will ensure that crib sheets are tight fitting by either replacing them or ordering something to keep them tight.

When topical skin products such as diaper ointment, the product shall not be used beyond the expiration date of the product.

One child's diaper ointment had expired approximately one month ago. The child was present during the inspection.
Plan of Correction: This ointment will be disposed or returned to the parent.
