Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interview and a virtual tour of the facility.

A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 2/28/2022. The area manager was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 32 children present, with 2 staff during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records and 2 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on a review of records and interview, the licensee did not ensure that each staff person obtains updated results of a Tuberculosis screening every 2 years.

Evidence:
Two staff records were reviewed.
The record for staff #2 contained the most recent Tuberculosis (TB) screening which was read in 2019.
The area manger confirmed that there were not more recent TB screening results available at the time of the inspection.
Plan of Correction: Staff #2 had a new Tuberculosis test administered on 3/1/2022. The results will be placed in the staff record upon reading on 3/5/2022.
