Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 10/17/22 from 11:15 am to 12:15pm. There were 7 children present (18 points) with 3 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies and nutrition. The children were observed playing with toys, coloring, and preparing for lunch. Handwashing was observed prior to lunch which included pasta with meat sauce, cucumber, fruit, wheat bread and milk. A total of 3 children's records, 1 staff, attendance and emergency drill records were reviewed.

Plan of Correction: I will have the parents complete annual review.

Based on records review, the family day home did not obtain documentation of additional immunizations for a child under the age of two years, every six months.
Evidence: Child # 1 is 23 months old and immunization records were not every 6 months.
Plan of Correction: I will request the most recent immunization records from the parents.
