Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 7/13/2023. The center had 27 children present with 6 staff in 5 groupings. The children were observed playing on the playground, having circle time, reading books, doing art and playing. Nap and lunch was also observed.
Lots of materials and space for the children to explore.
Discussed the medication forms and the need for a contact to the health department for an environmental health inspection. A violation notice was given to the center at the time of the inspection. Based on the physical plant review the playground does not have a shady spot.
Evidence: During the inspection the playground was in full sun.
Plan of Correction: We have a shade sail that we will get put up. We are waiting for the maintenance man to do so.
