Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted at 10:45am. Observed 3 children totaling 8 points with 1 caregiver. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Children were drawing/coloring, playing with blocks and toys, learning letters, shapes and colors during the inspection. An infant in care was being held and playing with a toy. The caregiver was actively engaged with the children and activities. The daycare areas of the home were found to be clean and sufficiently supplied with toys and equipment for the children. Based on records reviewed, the licensee failed to ensure that parents were provided required information in writing prior to their first day of attendance. Evidence: In 3 of 6 child records the Information for Parents Form was not completed fully and did not include all of the required information. The parent(s) signed an incomplete or blank form.
