Inspector Notes
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 11:00am to approximately 12:30pm. During this inspection, there were 8 children in care in the care of two caregivers. The children were observed playing outside and in the designated areas of the home. They were observed interacting with peers, playing with age appropriate toys, eating and resting. The areas of childcare, kitchen, the indoor and outdoor play areas were inspected. The caregivers were observed having positive interactions with the children. The required postings were reviewed and found to be in compliance. The first aid kit and emergency supplies, daily attendance, and emergency drills were reviewed. Five children's records and three caregivers' records were reviewed.
A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. There were no violations issued to the program.
