Inspector Notes

An unannounced mandated inspection was completed from 3:45 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. There were 12 children in care with two staff supervising. Children were observed playing games and singing outside. Children were also observed in the cafeteria, playing in the gym, and being picked up by parents.
Five children's records were reviewed. Two staff records were reviewed on 04/25/2022 at the main YMCA office.
The inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on interview and record review, the center did not have an annual fire inspection.
Evidence:
1. The last fire inspection was completed 10/21/20. 2. The YMCA Director verified the last inspection was completed on 10/21/20.
Plan of Correction: The director has spoke to the school and was told The Town of Pulaski currently has a vacancy for the fire marshall. The fire chief as been contacted by no one has called back or shown up.
