Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today between the hours of 12:55-2:15pm. The physical plant, 2 staff records, 3 children?s records, evacuation drills, and emergency supplies were inspected. Children were observed during nap time and story time. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for the children in care. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Based on record review, 1 of 2 staff members reviewed did not submit documentation of a negative tuberculosis screening completed within the last 30 calendar days of the date of employment.

Evidence:
1. Staff #1 began employment on 8/22/2022. The tuberculosis screening documentation in the record for Staff #1 was dated 11/03/2021.
Plan of Correction: Documentation of tuberculosis screenings will be within 30 days prior to employment.
