Inspector Notes
A non-mandated complaint inspection was initiated on 10/06/2022 and concluded on 10/06/2022. A complaint was received in the Office of Child Care Health and Safety (Valley Office), on September 28, 2022, regarding care and protection, physical plant, staff qualifications and training, and special care provisions and emergencies. Interviews were conducted on 10/06/2022.
The evidence gathered during the investigation did not support the allegation of non-compliance with standards or law. There were two allegations cited not related to the allegation. The exemptions to compliance are noted on the violations notice.
Violations
2Evidence:
1. During observation of a diaper change, the staff member did not wash their hands before or after changing the child's diaper.
2. The administration and staff confirmed that their hands were not washed even though they were wearing gloves.
Evidence:
1. During observation of classroom, while staff member was changing a child's diaper. The staff member sanitized the diapering surface after use but did not clean the surface with soap and water.
2. Staff member and administration confirmed that the surface was not cleaned before it was sanitized.
