Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 08/07/2023. At the time of entrance, 3 children were in care with the provider. The record sample size consisted of 4 children's records and the provider's record. The children in care were observed engaging with the provider, participating in lunch and free play. Injury reports were reviewed. The provider reported no medications are being administered at this time. Areas of noncompliance are noted in the violation narrative and were discussed with the provider during the exit meeting at the conclusion of the inspection.

Based on record review and interview it was determined the provider did not ensure that documentation of evacuation drills were maintained.
Evidence:
1. There was no record of an evacuation drill completed in July 2023.
2. Provider stated there was a drill but she could not locate the documentation.
Plan of Correction: Provider will ensure documentation is maintained and available for inspection.
