Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.

An announced initial inspection was conducted on 06/11/2021 from 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm. The facility was toured and the outdoor play area and classrooms were measured for capacity. Some items observed/reviewed during the inspection included: required posted information, emergency maps and procedures, first-aid kit, emergency supplies, injury prevention plan, playground safety plan, the emergency plan, materials, equipment, surfacing, and manipulatives. A recommendation will be made for an initial six-month conditional Child Day Center license with a capacity of 41 children and an age range of six weeks through twelve years eleven months. There were no violations noted on during the inspection.
