Inspector Notes

A self-reported incident was reported to our office concerning appropriate behavior guidance and staff interactions. An onsite inspection was conducted today. There were 115 children present, with 25 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed staff records, classroom observations and conducted interviews. Information gathered during the inspection determined no violations will be issued relating to the self-report. Not related to the self-report, other non-compliance with applicable standards or law was observed and violation is documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on review of staff record, the center did not obtain a copy of the results of a search of the child abuse and neglect registry from any state in which the individual has resided in the preceding five years.
Evidence
Staff #1, first day of employment October 2022, does not have documentation of a search of the child abuse and neglect registry from the state in which she has lived in in the preceding five years.
Plan of Correction: I have sent in the request twice, but do not have documentation of the follow up. I will follow up again and send the results to my inspector when they are received.
