A complaint inspection was initiated on 11/18/2022 and concluded on 12/08/2022. There were 42 children present with 8 staff supervising. Additional adminstrative staff were available. The complaint was in regards to staffing and supervision. The complaint was deemed valid. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, staff interview and record review, the licensee did not ensure the ratio was 1 staff to 8 children for children 2 years of age.

Based on observation, record review and staff interview, the licensee did not ensure With a parent's written permission and a written assessment by the program director and program leader, a center may choose to assign a child to a different age group if such age group is more appropriate for the child's developmental level and the staff-to-children ratio and group size shall be for the established age group.
