Inspector Notes
An unannounced complaint inspection was initiated on July 11, 2023 and completed on September 1, 2023 regarding concerns of staff certifications. There were observations in the classrooms, interviews with staff, a review of records/documentation.
The preponderance of the evidence gathered during the investigation does support the allegation related to staff training and qualifications therefore, the complaint is determined to be valid.
The inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review, the vendor did not ensure staff current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) as appropriate to the age of the children in care from an organization such as the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, American Safety and Health Institute, or National Safety Council. The training shall include an in-person competency demonstration.Staff should have certification with in 90days of employment.
