Inspector Notes
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff both on-site and using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a tour of the program.
A renewal inspection was initiated on 9/10/21 and concluded on 9/13/21. The center owner was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. The inspector emailed the owner a list of items required to complete the inspection. An on-site tour of the center was also conducted. There were 38 children present with 11 staff. Children were observed engaging in free play, circle time and playing outside on the playground. Handwashing, diapering and toileting procedures were also observed. A sample of 3 children's records and 3 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

1. The records for staff 1 (date of hire: 6/1/21), staff 2 (date of hire: 7/28/21) and staff 3 (date of hire: 7/12/21) do not contain documentation to demonstrate that they possess the education required for the job position of program leader.
a. The center owner stated that staff 1, staff 2 and staff 3 were hired as program leaders and confirmed they have worked in the classroom with children in the position of program leader.
2. The center owner confirmed that the records for staff 1, staff 2, and staff 3 do not contain documentation of the education necessary for the qualification of program leader.
