Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review and a virtual tour of the program.

A renewal inspection was initiated on August 2, 2021 and concluded on August 5, 2021. The owner was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 15 children present, ranging in ages from six years old to eleven years old, with three staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of two child records and two staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review and discussion with staff, the center failed to ensure all employees had a central registry finding within 30 days of employment.

Evidence:

1. Staff 2 did not have a a central registry finding in his/her file on the day of the inspection. His/her date of hire was 6/1/2021. Staff 1 verified that the form had not been sent back nor had they inquired about the status of the form.
