Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted today between 9:00am and 10:00am. There were 6 children present with 2 caregivers supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. The children were observed eating morning snack and dancing.. A total of 4 child records and 3 caregiver records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on review of caregiver records, not all tuberculosis (TB) screenings were completed within 30 days of the date of hire.
Evidence
Caregiver #1 first day of employment9/4/2023, had a TB screening that was completed 7/20/2023.
Plan of Correction: We will make sure all TB screenings are dated within 30 days of the first day of hire for all new caregivers.

Evidence
The record for child #1 does not contain the address for one emergency contact.
Plan of Correction: We will get the emergency contact information and make sure we always get the name, address and phone number for two emergency contacts for each child.
