Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was initiated and concluded with the director on 12/13/2021. There were 79 children present, ranging in ages from 3 months to 5 years, with 15 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on review of training documentation it was determined that staff who were required to have Medication Administration Training (MAT) were not retrained at three-year intervals. Evidence: The most recent MAT certification on file for Staff A was dated 08/11/2021.
Plan of Correction: Administration has made several attempts to schedule Medication Administration Training at the facility however has not been able to find an instructor to teach the class. Administration will continue to reach out to schedule a Medication Administration Training.
