An investigation was initiated from 11:45 am - 12:30 pm in response to a complaint received by the department involving supervision. Interviews were conducted, documentation, child records, and staff records were reviewed. The complaint regarding supervision is determined to be valid.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on interviews and documentation it was determined that children are repeatedly reassigned from their regular group in effort to maintain the required ratio. Evidence: The LI (Licensing Inspector) observed that six children were moved from their regularly assigned group to different classrooms to maintain the required ratios. Staff report that children are regularly moved to support ratios due to a shortage in staffing.
