Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted at 10:30am. There were 7 children with the program director, who is currently filling a lead teacher role. A 2nd staff person was also present in the building and available to step into the classroom, as needed. Ratios were in compliance at the time of the inspection. Children were observed eating the morning snack, and playing with toys during the inspection. The facility was found to be clean, and classrooms were sufficiently supplied with toys and equipment for the children. The outdoor play area is currently not in-use and reported to be under renovation. No transportation is provided. Each child brings their own snacks and lunch from home daily.
Information gathered during the inspection determined there was an area of non-compliance with applicable standards or laws reviewed. Questions about this inspection may be directed to pamela.sneed@doe.virginia.gov
