Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts and documents review.

A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 7/23/2021. The director was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 5 children present, ranging in ages from 2years to 5years, with 3 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 children's records and 2 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on a review of emergency preparedness records, it was determined that the school has not implemented a monthly practice evacuation drill.
Evidence:
The school opened in late June 2021 and has had at least one child in care since opening. There was no emergency evacuation drill practiced during the month of June 2021.
Plan of Correction: I was waiting until we were open at least 30 days. Moving forward I will make sure we do a fire drill every month of the calendar year.
