Inspector Notes
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today between 11:15am and 12:45pm. There were 4 children present with the Provider for a total of 10 points within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed playing freely with puzzles and cars and eating lunch (spaghetti, mixed vegetables and mixed fruit). A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log, menu, attendance and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. The provider is not MAT training to administer medications. The provider stated that no medications were on-site. Violations were found during today?s inspection and can be viewed on the Violation Notice.

Violations
4Evidence:
1. The provider has instructed the children to wash their hands prior to lunch. 3 out of 4 children were observed washing their hands and then resumed playing. The children were seated to eat lunch approximately 5 minutes later.
2. Child #3 was observed being placed into a high chair to eat lunch. The child's hands were not washed prior to eating.
Evidence: The most recent documented review of the provider's emergency preparedness plan is dated 3/2022.
Evidence: The children were not served anything to drink during lunch. Child #1 was observed requesting a drink from the provider twice, however the child was not given a drink.
Evidence: At the start of the inspection, child #2 was observed walking around the family day home drinking from a sippy cup filled with milk.
