Inspector Notes
An unannounced inspection was initiated on September 23, 2024, and completed on September 23, 2024, in response to a complaint received by the licensing office on September 13, 2024, relating to allegations of staff to children?s ratios, building maintenance and daily activities for infants. This inspection included document review (i.e. Injury logs, policies and procedures, emergency drill logs, medication administration logs, authorization forms), tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
The preponderance of evidence gathered during the investigation supports the allegation regarding staff to children ratio, therefore, the complaint is determined to be valid. Information gathered during the inspection determined non -compliance with applicable standards or law and the violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on October 15, 2024. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.
Violations
1Staff #3 was observed supervising eight children (youngest child 6 months old) at 7:56 am. A ninth child arrived and at 8 am along with the second staff, staff #2. Staff #2 and staff #3 supervised nine children from approximately 8:00 am until 8:20 am.
