Inspector Notes
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
An announced initial inspection was conducted on 05/07/2021. All areas used for childcare were observed it included eight classrooms, gym, library, restrooms, and outdoor play area. Some items observed/reviewed during the inspection included: required posted information, parent drop-off and pick-up procedures, emergency maps, first -aid kit, non-medical emergency supplies, one staff record and five agent's background checks, and the emergency plan. A recommendation will be made for an initial six-month conditional Child Day Center license with a capacity of 200 children and an age range of five years through twelve years. There were no violations noted during the inspection.
