Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 6/21/2023.? There were 34 children present with 4 staff supervising. The children were observed eating lunch, taking bathroom breaks, engaged in a movie, and at the start of nap time. A total of 3 child records and 2 staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 11:00 am and concluded at 12:20 pm.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation and staff interviews the center did not ensure for each group of children, the center shall maintain a written record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.
Evidence: Staff in the following rooms confirmed their attendance sheet did not show the accurate number of children present:
1. Two & Three year old room had 9 children present and only 4 checked in.
2. Four & Five year old room had 12 children present and none checked in.
3. School Age room had 13 children present and 26 were checked in. None had been checked out.
Plan of Correction: Ensure all staff record attendance accurately once children arrive in the am.
