Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 7/31/2024. The on-site inspection began at 10:15 am and ended at 11:30 am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 49 children present and 4 staff. There inspector reviewed 5 children's records and 2 staff records on-site. The inspection included document review, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on 8/7/2024. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

(Repeat Violation) For each group of children, the center shall maintain a written record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs. At approximately 10:30 am there were 9 children present in the twos & threes room, but only 6 were marked present on the attendance record and there were 19 children present in the school age room, but only 18 signed in.
Plan of Correction: Correction plan for attendance is to have a meeting with staff on the importance of documenting attendance. Also I will speak on allowing personal children in the facility to visit and attendance. However, I do plan on making an additional sign in sheet according to class with time in and out to also keep an record of attendance. The correction will be start 8/2/24.
