Inspector Notes

An allegation concerning care of children and nutrition was received to the DOE Licensing office. Staff interviews, records, physical observation of the classroom and nutrition services were reviewed. Based on the preponderance of evidence and information gathered during the inspection, the part of the complaint addressing nutrition/special services was valid. The other areas of concern were not valid. Non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Evidence:
A bottle for child #1 was missing the date.
Plan of Correction: Staff and parents will be reminded to include both the name and date on bottles and food containers bought from home.
