Inspector Notes

An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was initiated and concluded on Monday, October 17, 2022. The licensing inspector was on site from approximately 9:30am until 11:15am. There were no children present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, and programming. A total of one child?s records, one caregiver's records, and three household members' records were reviewed. A monitoring inspection was also conducted on this date.
Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on documentation reviewed, the vendor did not maintain a record of the dates of the practice drills for one year.

Evidence: 1) During the inspection, the record of the dates of the practice drills could not be reviewed. 2) During interview, Caregiver #1 acknowledged the practice drills were conducted, but the record of the dates of the practice drills could not be located at the time of the inspection.
Plan of Correction: The drills will be located and the provider will continue to maintain documentation as required.
