Inspector Notes

A code compliance inspection was conducted September 27, 2022. The licensing inspector was onsite from approximately 12:00pm until 1:50pm. There were 23 children present, ranging in ages from two to five years, with four staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, and medication. A total of five children's records and four staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation and interview, the center did not ensure that the building serving preschool aged children was equipped with at least one carbon monoxide detector.

Evidence:
The licensing inspector did not see a carbon monoxide detector installed in the center. Staff #4 stated that a carbon monoxide detector is not currently installed in the building
Plan of Correction: We will purchase and install a carbon monoxide detector in the center today.
