Inspector Notes
This inspection was conducted by staff using an alternative remote protocol, including phone interview, records review, and a virtual observations. An on-site inspection was not conducted at this time.
An announced initial inspection was conducted at 10:00am. The provider was contacted by phone to initiate the inspection, and given a list of items required to complete the inspection. There were 8 children present = 24 points with the provider, assistant #1, and assistant #2. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Household member #1 was also present, though not counted in the ratios. Children were observed eating snack, and having indoor free-play. All caregivers were actively engaged with the children. The childcare areas of the home were clean, well supplied, and organized. These areas were recently painted and furnished with new furniture, equipment, and decor. Required documents were posted in the home. The fenced outdoor play area, located in the backyard/deck area, offered active play equipment and open space. Record keeping was in compliance. Information gathered during the inspection determined there were no non-compliances with applicable standards or laws reviewed.
