Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and an in person tour of the program.
A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated on September 27, 2022 and concluded on September 27, 2022. There were 11 children present with 2 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program

Based on record review and vendor interviews, the vendor did not ensure to compete all required annual training.

Evidence: The record for staff #1 and assistant #2 did not have the annual department?s health and safety update course. The most recent health and safety update course for staff #1 was dated 6-10-21 and for staff #2 it was dated 5-21-2019.
Plan of Correction: Both Staff will take training class.
