Inspector Notes
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced renewal inspection on 2/8/2022 from 11:15am to 1:15pm. There were 9 children present with 2 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing, supervision, programming, medication, special care, emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 children?s records, 1 household member record and 3 caregiver records and were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Violations
4Evidence:
The record child #2 (start date: 9/7/21) did not have documentation of a physical exam.
Evidence:
The inspector observed staff #2 sanitize the diapering surface after diapering each child. The diapering surface should be cleaned and sanitized after each use.
Evidence:
The provider did not have a working battery operated weather band radio.
Evidence:
The record of child #2 (start date: 9/7/21) had documentation of immunizations that did not show that the child has been adequately immunized according to the requirements of ? 32.1-46 A of the Code of Virginia and applicable State Board of Health regulations.
