Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on September 23, 2024, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 10:30am and ended at 12:15pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above.

There were nine children present and two caregivers; the point total was 19. The inspector reviewed five children?s records and two caregiver/household member records on-site.

This inspection included document review (i.e. Injury logs, policies and procedures, emergency drill logs, medication administration logs, authorization forms, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

REPEAT VIOLATION

Medication, except for those prescriptions designated otherwise by a written physician?s order, including refrigerated medication and medications for caregivers and household members, shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.

A prescription medication was located in an unlocked cabinet in the child care play area.
