Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was initiated on July 20, 2022 and concluded on July 22, 2022.
There were 34 school age children present with 3 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 4 child records and 2 staff records were reviewed. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable
standards or law. No violations were issued.

Based on observation, the center did not ensure all hazardous substances are kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.

Evidence:
1. There was a bottle of hand sanitizer observed on the shelf with the labels, "warning", "flammable", and "keep out of reach of children" accessible to children in care.
2. In the bathroom area in the second classroom area, there were a bottle of antibacterial hand soap with the labels, "warning" and "keep out of reach of children" observed on the sink accessible to children in care.
Plan of Correction: The center immediately removed hazardous substances and locked in containers inaccessible to the children in care.
