Inspector Notes
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 5/31/2024 from 10:45 to 13:15.
The center had 112 children present in 10 groupings with 18 classroom staff as well as 7 additional staff present.
Reviewed 5 staff files and 8 children's files.
Observed the children playing on the playground and inside their rooms, one group built a volcano.
Lots of materials to explore in all the classrooms. Lunch was observed, today they had fish sticks, Tator tots and pears. the younger children had apple sauce. A violation notice was given to the center along with this inspection summary. 3Evidence: Based on the review of 5 staff files, the center failed to have the criminal records check in the file for one staff. Staff 4.
Evidence: Reviewed medications in three classrooms, one emergency medication has an authorization that expired on 2/10/24.
Evidence: The medications in two rooms are not locked areas, one is in a broken Safe sac and the other is in a zip lock bag. Medications are kept in cross body bags kept by the room door.
