Inspector Notes

An unannounced inspection was initiated on 11/12/2024 and completed on the same date in response to a complaint received by the licensing office on 10/29/24 relating to allegations of Staff qualifications and behavior guidance. The inspector reviewed This inspection included Documentation review, observations in classrooms, interview with staff.

The preponderance of evidence gathered during the investigation does not support the allegations ; therefore, the complaint is determined to be not valid. Though not a part of the original complaint, violations that were not reported were found related to staff to child ratio and are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

The ration for children 16 to 24 months are 1 staff for 5 children.

Ratios are determined by the youngest child in the group, the two year old group had 3 children under two years of age at the time of the inspection. 12 children present with two staff.
Plan of Correction: We thought we could move the children to the classroom since they are turning 2 at the end of the month. We will add a third staff person to the room until all children have turned two.
