Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted Wednesday, February 1, 2023. The licensing inspectors were onsite, completing the inspection from approximately 10:10am until 12:05pm. There were 25 children present, ranging in ages from two years to five years, with four staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, and medication. A total of five children's records and five staff members? records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and a violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation and interview, the center did not maintain all required first aid and emergency supplies in a first aid kit.

Evidence:
The licensing inspector could not locate the tweezers in the first aid kit. A member of management could not locate the tweezers during the inspection. The member of management stated ?She would pick up a new pair?.
Plan of Correction: I will pick up a new pair of tweezers and add them to the first aid kit.
